Unit 2: Fabrication Techniques
The purpose of this unit is the provide students with an introduction to the operation and environment of an industrial shop. Students will learn how to operate power and hand tools and fabricate simple projects. They will also study the impact of show operation on the environment.
Before students can use tools and equipment in the fabrication lab, they will be required to complete safety tests on various tools. Students must also complete and submit a safety pledge form before entering the fabrication lab.
